Big fan of letsencrypt’s certbot with the nginx and cloudflare (or other dns providers) plugins.
Is there any reason to use caddy or traefik over nginx?

What is the monthly fee for Usenet? I’m more in favor of decentralized systems with the use of seedboxes to speed up distribution, but I’m not against usenet either.

Not sure why that is.

I assume the retention for less popular content is a lot better on trackers, but I don’t have enough experience with usenet to say that for sure.

What features?

What about Cornel West?
What about Cornel West?
In regards to RFK, remove the anti-vax piece from your comment and it would be true for pretty much every presidential candidate ever. Dismissing him without a substantive rebuttal isn’t doing anything besides getting a pat on the back from those that already agree.

RFK is a conservative
More than Biden? The same Biden that passed the crime bill. The one who quashed a labor strike by the rail workers as president? Seems progressive.

I really like ansible and have played around with using it to deploy a seedbox. I still want to get it working, but I’ve given up on doing it all purely through ansible. At this point, I’m thinking the best route is using ansible to deploy swizzin with an environment file and unattended install

thedaly@reseed.itto Atheist Memes@lemmy.world•In your heart, you know he's rightEnglish318·2 years agoI find that most “democrats” bury their heads in the sand and ignore the obvious corruption of both parties. The US federal government is captured by corporations.
I would highly recommend considering candidates such as RFK Jr. or Cornel West over Biden and the rest of the corporate democrats.
Edit: Wow, this was not well received lol. Not that surprising. Kind of interesting that everyone focused on RFK and not Cornel West though. West is a true progressive with a long career focused on social justice. He would be great for this country. Link to West’s campaign page.

In all seriousness, you can’t start a new platform and simultaneously expect to exclude large segments of potential users. Shitjustworks seems to toe the line better than other instances. They ban spam/bots while still allowing most content.
Generally, I recommend avoiding the top two instances if you are considering creating an account, and I would recommend avoiding beehaw for other reasons. So that leaves you at shitjustworks.

I would bet that 99/100 releases are uploaded to private trackers before usenet.

Swizzin is definitely the most prominent solution for selfhosting a seedbox. I highly recommend it.

I got in via an interview for what.cd, way back in the day. The interview process is still a viable way in for those willing to put a bit of time in.
