Also, the interpretation of the writer is that this will outlaw all trans healthcare for all ages. That’s not exactly what was said - he’s saying he wants to ban it in all federal programs - that being Medicare and Medicaid as well as VA and TriCare. This is effectively cutting off access for probably the majority of us, but it is not outlawing the practice (for adults). When it comes to minors, looks like that is a total ban on any medical gender affirming care.

We will likely see independent private pay clinics pop up as a result of this. But at the same time, he said this a year ago and hasn’t really said much of anything since, so who knows if he’ll follow through. Either way, we need to go forward as if he will.
