Migrating to other countries is extremely difficult. The “easiest” is probably getting a job in Europe that will help you get a work visa. If you want to actually become a citizen somewhere else, the easiest way is a country you can prove an ancestry from that counts that as a benefit, or be Jewish and go to Israel.

If you have no connection to another country, you probably need an advanced degree (preferably in an in demand field), a significant savings account balance, and a job offer or proof that you could obtain one fairly quickly. Even then it’s not a guarantee. Somewhat ironically, the US is one of the easier places to migrate to.

It’s not so much that the games are bloated (they are), it’s that many are incredibly gated as well. There’s always been super grindy and bloated games, but the degree it’s done today is just different. You can’t just spend two weeks putting in 100+ hours into a modern game and complete everything. It’s no longer kill a million mobs to get this achievement, it’s kill 100 mobs max a day until you kill a million. It’s do this phase and wait a month for the next phase.

Diablo 2 is honest and open about it’s grinding, modern day games aren’t.

Canada joining the US individually would radically change us politics though. It would make Democrats or further left a strong majority. The point is Canada making this offer makes Trump is the one that has to turn it down or lose everything, Canada would fundamentally change the us as 10 more states.

Cloning functionality is legal, but the tricky part is trademark for various terms and processes.

Canada should play the longer game and agree to join the US if:

• each province becomes a state.
• more representatives get added to accommodate the additional states.
• French remains an official/supported language.
• poutine becomes a national dish.
• 5 years of no income tax for formerly Canadian citizens.
• favorable conversion to USD

Convection toaster ovens are the best though. They let you “air fry” in a far better form factor, and you can also toast and bake in them.
