  • Fully agree that theres too much politics. Like you say too often about attacking some kind of enemy rather trying to understand other perspectives. For better or for worse, those seem to be the types of people more likely to use a new platform like Lemmy. Hopefully in the future they will also get tired of this stuff.

    So you are not donating anyway? It seems to me like there is a vocal minority of users who make any type of excuse for the fact that they are unwilling to donate. Instead of being honest about that, you demand from us to make more and more changes, which will piss off other users and will likely not lead to any actual increase in donations.





  • Some user messaged me out of nowhere asking me to work for free to integrate some kind of browser plugin to track “transphobes” (so people like me, apparently). If theres one thing that pisses me off its people acting entitled and demanding I work for free for them. Plus it sounded like a violation of user privacy. So I quickly wrote a response without thinking much about it.
