megalodon@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•How Much Does It Cost to Charge an Electric Vehicle? (A comparison at home and on the road, with gasoline)English11·2 years agoThis argument makes no sense. ICE cars have no option other than fossil fuels. Charging at home the electricity will at least be from some renewable sources, and the percentage is always increasing.
Garmin Forerunner 965. I track heart rate, pace, distance, time, etc. The map and offline Spotify features have been useful abroad. It’s nice being able to check notifications on my watch without pulling my phone out. I’m always impressed when I wake up feeling like shit and the watch tells me I had a crap night’s sleep.
It’s as if we only exist to bring value to the lives of a few lucky individuals.

megalodon@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elektrek: "Tesla FSD Beta tried to kill me last night"English1·2 years agoWhat crap am I giving? I’m just saying it’s a stupid idea to beta test self driving technology on the highway.
megalodon@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elektrek: "Tesla FSD Beta tried to kill me last night"English31·2 years agoIsn’t that the issue? He’s using something that’s still in beta on the highway.
megalodon@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Elektrek: "Tesla FSD Beta tried to kill me last night"English17·2 years agoFFS. He was testing a beta update at 73 miles per hour. Is he really expecting sympathy?

I’ve been to beaches in Europe which are very clean and beaches in Turkey which are full of litter. Both have rubbish bins which are collected regularly. It’s all down to local culture.

megalodon@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Leave no trace: Finland removes litter bins from national parksEnglish51·2 years agoNot in the slightest. It’s not exactly a massive burden to take your rubbish home with you.
Holy shit. You keep expecting it to end but they just keep going for 5 pages.
