Enrichment? Meeting emotional needs? Basic medical attention for injuries? No. You are put in a cage so small you cannot move, until you die.

No one who breeds, murders, and butchers animals (or who pays to have those things done) has respect for life. You are lying to yourself so that you don’t have to see yourself as a bad person. There is a better way not to see yourself as a bad person.
Farms do not “raise” animals. When you raise a child, you prepare it for life. A farm animal does not go on to enjoy life, they are killed in their absolute prime, because that is when the product is at its best. It’s absurd that these lies are convincing to you, but we are eager to believe certain lies, aren’t we?

All public salaries should be public. I disagree that fixing the cutoff causes it to diverge from it’s “true purpose”. IMO it actually gets closer to that purpose every year.

The USA effectively does not perform governance in the sense that is meant by liberal democracies of the last century. That’s just not what the USA does, and it doesn’t make sense to compare it to a government that exists to serve its citizens.

You clearly have done zero research on the topic and are simply telling us what you would like to be true. “Common sense” is what you use when you don’t know better. But in this case, data exists, and you don’t need to be speculating about things you don’t know about.
Not voting is still a choice. We don’t get to be let off the hook because we couldn’t be arsed to vote for someone else. It’s universal that the lower the turnout, the better conservative candidates do; not voting is simply a vote for the conservatives! This is squarely Ontario voter’s fault.
