honestly i don’t give them that much credit. between religous and cultural based hate, the concept of “we are the good ones” means they would have to see themselves in a potential group that could be kicked out. they don’t. they see the nuance of their social structure and it never dawns on them that Trump only sees their skin color.

if the law makes their business not viable it’s a ban. and if all they can do is show ads and not allow people to post BS then they will go away.

around here highschool is shifted to later start and end and there isn’t any chaos. but they also have access to transportation and parent can leave them homs alone legally.

the real issuse is k-5. my kids start at 730 and are done at 2. That means i have to leave work at 1. literally half a day of work and then i have to leave. i don’t get paid enough to do child care so i have to work from home with kids and have a gap mid day due to commute.

with being a walled garden i have a feeling we will eventually see phones become genuinely free because you will not have an option to keep your data away from advertisers. AOSP is barely holding on to maintain a safe place for users. when all hardware is locked down we will be stuck.
