I don’t know where I heard or read it, so take my explanation with a grain of salt. Most poisons taste bitter, so avoiding bitter tasting things means avoiding poisonous things. Since children have a smaller body weight, the lethal dose is smaller for them. As go grow older, your body mass increases and so does your tolerance to poisons. But I am not sure why we would not want to avoid poisons in general even if they were not lethal any more.

I‘d honestly be interested where you are from and how it is in other parts of the world. In my country (or at least at my university), we have to learn most of what you described during our bachelors. For us there is not much focus on programming languages though and more about concepts. If you want to learn programming, you are mostly on your own. The theories we learned are a good base though

From what I know, particles that have a mass greater than 0 move below the speed of light and can never reach it. Particles that have no mass (every force is transferred via particles) move at the speed of light. So there is no way to have anything that is faster than the speed of light, not even forces.

Yeah, if you need those features. In my experience it’s often features only a very small fraction of people need that are cluttering the UI and make it impossible to find the features I actually need.

Full brightness and streaming map data all while having turn by turn navigations on. Also the app I am using is still not using the default rendering engine so probably less optimized than possible. With everything else I have no problem getting through a day with plenty of battery left

For me the UI was just almost unusable. While the features are very nice and mostly unmatched, there is just no way to find them. Also it really killed the battery of my phone. While hiking it was fine, but for real time turn by turn navigations my phone died in about 2h compared to 4 or so on other apps
