That AIX of Durkson is looking mighty suspicious to me as well this season. Drugovich and Pourchaire previously have driven “the rocketship”… Feel like Piastri was probably the last person to win it clean

100% agree. It is not legal to run red lights, there is already a simple road traffic law for this.

It can be pretty bad to watch the amount of cyclists running reds at some junctions, of course drivers run them as well.

Thankfully it’s not illegal to cross the road when you want as a pedestrian in the UK, however. I think some leniency when it comes to cycling is generally a good thing but yeah, it’s illegal to run a red light, knock someone over and then cycle away so, on to the CCTV I guess.

Since you’re the one who made the post, I think you should 100% run the game for your two mates! GMing for small groups is the best!

Your post doesn’t include any notes about how you will play without a GM, so just go for it! Make them reward you with snacks and trinkets.

It feels like the only sustainable way to make this work is for Lime to foot the bill for all the council time they take up. If they cannot make that work financially then their business model is unsustainable. I can’t understand why our government and councils are so slow on this.

They absolutely should have to rent parking space from the public and insist their users use them as well, in my opinion. I’m sick of having to move all the lime bikes out of the bike racks which they don’t even need. Bananas!

You summed it up perfectly. Except as time goes on, Norris’s speed advantage in quali is diminishing. Piastri gets the championship unless the general team pace drops

The team stated fairly recently that it was “going to happen” at some point. I’m inclined to agree that they sort of let it happen this week, since the win wasn’t anywhere close.

My prediction was for Russell and Verstappen to take each other out T1 then Piastri to cruise to P1 and Norris to drop it in the wall out of desperation, so I feel half right.

Odds on Piastri to win the championship must now be climbing further with this dnf

How do you rate BLM as a GM. I think one of if not THE favourite of mine is Joe O’Brien for how well he marries the Show presentation with his respect for player choices. He’s likely underrated IMHO

That said, whilst I am a big dropout fan generally, I haven’t yet managed to get in to any dimension 20 stuff. I would appreciate any recommendations!

I definitely watch indycar but I would watch almost any F1 or F2 session as the priority.

One thing I find particularly strange is the safety aspect which seems needlessly disorganised for Indy in general. There are good reasons why F1 has no refueling for example; the footage of pit crew getting burned and mashed against the walls in this year’s 500 I found really upsetting

Can’t see this making a difference really. It’s one race. I watched this year’s 500 but tbh it’s too long. Too many stretches where nothing is happening. Problem is they’re locked in to the format now and people would kick off massively if it suddenly became the 300 (which I’d watch!)

Seems fair enough to be honest, he’s performing well. Makes me feel old though lol

Last updated march 2024. I’m using Thunder at this point as there were a fair few broken bits and bobs. It’s not as slick but it seems to support Lemmy a bit more thoroughly and has a similar UI approach
