Nah, its not free, all those years of time you lost with your parents while they worked was the trade as a child. Becoming a latch-key kid and the life-long childhood trauma of that is the trade.

An authoritarian upbringing leads to a hierarchical belief system. Changing that requires addressing trauma that they avoided their entire lives, recreating their entire world view, and admitting they were wrong. Such a giant ask for these types of people unfortunately.

I have used Obsidian, works well. Also just spreadsheets with checkboxes, that one is not mobile friendly though.
I haven’t seen studies so this is just conjecture, but I believe its the same material. Likely it does, but not close to the same magnitude of car tires.
