That’s $240,000 per person.

Do you really think I should have made my post LONGER?
No but you could’ve made it much shorter by cutting out the commentary based only on the headline and didn’t read the article.
This isn’t meant to solve anything. It’s meant as a test to see if people will let him get away with it. Once it’s normalized he can start his real attack.
They do put on public displays, but they’re actual soldiers in the army. Their primary duty is as a guard.
Kilts.
Assholes with a fragile ego.
So the same people who buy them in America.
Because he incited an insurrection the last time he didn’t want to leave at the end of his term. There’s no way he’ll give it up this time.
Capitalism working as intended. But it’s not finished yet. Get back to work peasants.
It makes a lot of sense. If they can make people accept this action then they can deport anyone anywhere anytime. It’s the next step in their fascist takeover of the US. It’s the equivalent of the Nazi party persecuting their political opponents, mentally ill, homeless, disabled and locking them up in Dachau.
It’s already happening and one side is mobilizing national guard troops and the other side is writing letters and making signs.
That’s been obvious for a long time now. He incited an insurrection the last time he didn’t want to leave office. He’ll do anything and everything he needs to stay in power.
Nobody owes you a platform.
But I’m glad I get to see so many shitty people/corporations fighting each other.
Doing some more research it seems that people argued against assassinating Hitler for that reason, but they weren’t listened to.
The allies actually stopped trying to assassinate Hitler in the latter years of the war because he was causing more and more damage to his own cause by firing people who knew what they were doing and replacing them with yes-men.
See below.
Or you could just be polite. Canadians are not armed. We have plenty of stupid, crazy, and people on drugs. It’s not the guns that make you polite.
Corporations won’t stop if they don’t want to. Why? They pass on the cost to the consumer anyways.
Correct, and then the consumers are less likely to buy them and will pick the ones that are made from non-tariffed materials.
The point of tariffs is to lower purchases from countries who are waging economic warfare on us, even when we can’t directly see the source.
And there are people who still thinking standing on the street corner with a sign, or voting in the midterms is going to stop it.
We can boycott them on an individual level, but the real money is from industry buying massive quantities of things. They use them to make things and we never know where it came from. We don’t need the tariffs to keep Canadian people from buying American. We need it to stop corporations from doing it.
