Honestly, I understand that the opposite way. The payment account is still your wero account, that obviously has every transaction you’ve done with them saved, and not much else. Meanwhile the payment source would be your bank account, and they clearly state that they only save the account holder name (your name), type of payment source (presumably bank account, credit card, debit card, … in case they ever want to reach feature parity with PayPal) and a technical identifier, which would be your account number, card number, …, possibly (hopefully) hashed and secured in some way. I still in no way see any I dictation that they’d extract your previous transactions, or any transactions done directly from your bank account

I would assume payment account in this case would be similar to eg a Paypal account. As in, they can obviously see the transactions you’ve done with them, and they will keep them saved, but I don’t see any reason why they would gather all of your bank account history

As someone who recently got a vasectomy at 27, I know how you’re feeling. I also never wanted kids, and have thought about getting a vasectomy from the moment it became legal for me. I still decided against it in the beginning, simply because condoms are easy and available, and I never really slept around too much. Then I met my partner, we talked about kids, and we both decided that we don’t want them, ever. So I had my vasectomy, and was recently cleared as sterile.

For me this was the perfect solution, as I never felt like I was rushing into something, I didn’t have to worry about what my partner would think, or if there might be a change in the future.

I was in your shoes a few years ago, so I think I can give at least some insights: Regarding VPNs, Tailscale is based on Wireguard, but makes configuration a whole lot easier, especially if you have devices with changing addresses. You do still need an account with them, but from there you simply install tailscale on every device you want to access via your VPN, and they should automatically get assigned IP addresses (100.x.x.x). Entering this assigned IP from any other device connected to your Tailscale network will give you a direct connection between the two. With a bit of fiddling you can also enable subnet forwarding, allowing you to for example connect to devices on your home network that don’t support installing software on them, but at least for your current setup I don’t think that’s necessary. It is fun to play around with though, and opens up a whole new world of possibilities. I use it to remotely manage my parent’s Router for example, since merlin-wrt and many managed switches don’t easily support additional software.

Cloudflare Tunnels are Kind of similar to a VPN, only that you don’t connect your own devices with eachother, but instead connect your server(s) directly to cloudflare, who then take over the task of actually getting your data on the internet. The advantage of this is that you technically don’t even need a public IP address, since any requests and answers will be forwarded through the “VPN”, and only cloudflare needs to be publically accessible. This does require you to buy a Domain though, since that is what the forwarding will be based on. In the same vein, but if you want to do things “more manually”, I’d also recommend you look into Reverse proxying, if you haven’t already. That’s basically what turns “site1.example.com” and “site2.example.com” into different requests, usually to different IPs and/or Ports on your private network, allowing you to have multiple things running under one domain. Personally I use the “Nginx Proxy Manager” running in a Docker Container for this, mainly because it’s nice and easy to get your head around, but there are several newer Options like Traefik or Caddy that I also want to look into at some point.

After this wall of text, I hope you have fun playing around with all of this stuff, I know I had, and I really learned a lot about networks and the internet in general. Oh, and don’t be too stubborn to completely start from scratch occasionally, sometimes it’s just the easiest solution…

Ich bin mit meinem Betriebsrat schon sehr ehrlich, aber auch nur weil/erst seit er vor drei Jahren neu gewählt wurde. Der vorherige Betriebsrat war zu besten Zeiten nutzlos, und im schlimmsten Fall inkompetent. Im neuen Betriebsrat sitzen allerdings viele Kollegen die ich schon davor kannte, und die auch in ähnlichen Positionen wie ich sind sind (Produktion, Installationen bei Kunden, …), und damit sehr genau verstehen was so die allgemeinen Probleme der Firma sind.

Rein an sich sollte der Betriebsrat aber eher hinter dir als Arbeitnehmer stehen, und dich nicht dafür verurteilen das du “nur” für dein Gehalt arbeitest. Du könntest ja Mal einen Termin ausmachen, und etwas vorsichtiger an die Sache rangehen. Wenn gleich von Anfang an alles klingt wie ein Gespräch mit der Personalabteilung, bei dem nur Ausreden gesucht werden oder abgelenkt wird, ist es wohl eh relativ klar wie es steht. Aber wenn sich das Gespräch positiv entwickelt kann man ja ruhig durchkommen lassen das es einem nicht darum geht irgendwelche hohen Lebensziele zu erfüllen, sondern einfach nur darum über die Runden zu kommen. Und ich kann mir gut vorstellen das es hier dann auch Verständnis gibt, ich kann deine Einstellung nämlivh definitiv nachvollziehen, und ich bin bestimmt nicht der Einzige.
