2·5 months agoAyy glad you agree. It can be hard to remember, but most people really do want to do the right thing. Sometimes, posts like this make us forget that humanity advances forward in spite of the consequences because we as a species want to make the world a better place, even if some of us are evil I feel like humanity as a whole is inherently good.

I can’t believe I’m cheering for Sweeney even once, but I guess it works out for all of us in this case.

19·2 years agoMy guess is they don’t want to be responsible for lawsuits if someone eats food they had to throw out and it causes a problem. (past expiration date, damage, ect.) Then again I am not a multi-billion dollar business executive so the reason could very well be “fuck the poors” for all I know.

31·2 years agoThat would the coolest shit imaginable. I’m surprised nobody has tried making a FOSS ecosystem for the DS, considering how often users have hacked it. All I’m saying is, I wish a company would come alone and make a DS like system with modern resolution and cameras. It might do pretty well.

2·2 years agoThis is a defeatist take and while the answer isn’t a super simple “just tell people to not order out and cook more” we can definitely do more to help people stop relying on eating out and fast food.
