It said one organ, you went on a shopping spree haha.
If you’re good enough at it you might make some side money, win-win imo.
This show is lovely, and made me discover Johnny Flynn that made the opening credit music, so good.
The s being silent is one thing but I find English speakers mostly struggle with getting the vowels and combinations anywhere close, even here I read this “pah” and I’m like “no way even 1/10th of them get that A right”, or indeed the “ri”.
It’ll be quicker to round up the cities that won’t sign… Paris. That’s it that’s the list.
poep is the correct Dutch spelling for it (pronounced the same as poop).
That’s called a wealth tax and it exists in (for example) the Netherlands. All assets except your house over 57k€ are taxed every year.
I thought it was the photographer/youtuber, was very confused.
Sorry miss/mam! Yeah I was looking at the used stuff if I want to go very cheap there’s some options, makes sense I can see these either getting outgrown or people giving up on it. But I’d want at least real pedals ideally double and maybe with those mesh things?
Nice genres yeah I was thinking punk rock for sure just for good mood and workout and pretty easy technically. I didn’t even think about playing trip hop which is funny considering that’s kinda the genre I produced in.
Damn I’m really feeling like it now, the other day I was able to play an acoustic one for like 10min really gives me the itch haha. Only realistic option though is I’ll have to move the workout bench etc every time I think…
Thanks and happy drumming 🥁
Nice one man sounds like you’re progressing nicely!! I played them quite a bit when I was younger and I’ll go do the couple rhythms I still remember when I come across a kit so should be enough to get back into it enough to get a sweat. Biggest challenge is space and expense tbh!
Yeah for sure, I’ve had good experiences with Thomann before though and if it’s just to get the heart rate pumping at home…
I’ve been thinking about this. I don’t have much time for music these days nor would I really have the mental capacity for the creativity necessarily, but I could replace some of my workout time with “work out on some e-drums” time… Bit challenging to fit it at home but might be doable… Thomann makes some cheap-ish sets that look OK. Haven’t seriously played drums since I was a teen.
I’m definitely guilty of not opening the article pretty often, and I really love when posters put a summary/highlights/entire article when it’s small in the body of the post. I actually do read/skim these pretty consistently vs opening and reading every single article in the feed.
This describes all the good stuff on 4chan tbh.
World cup includes tiny nations with players that are closer to your local plumber who plays on the weekends than to Christiano Ronaldo flying in on a private jet. Think Trinidad&Tobago and etc. Would definitely not be surprised when some of them get deported when stepping out of their regular flights.
It’s tough, it sounds like besides the age difference, he’s alright. I totally get why it gives you the ick though. Your only complaints about him being overbearing probably comes from him also recognizing the awkwardness of the situation and overcompensating trying to be extra nice.
I can hear it.
Music in particular I would kind of consider an exception, just because of the benefits of giving early musical education can help so much with acquiring the “language” while the brain is still in sponge mode, 4 to 10 years old.
If you’re forcing your teenager to work at it day and night and to go to the conservatory etc, that’s a different story.
