this is a rubbish title, the problem is not profits its because there is not enough. remember kids, “profit is what drives innovation” if you cap child care prices then this is going to keep happening. the only way to prevent it is to ensure more money goes to the directors, CEO’s and owners. DO NOT ever imply that they are responsible or should be held accountable, profits are what they deserve, the negative consequences are for society to absorb. if you think that arresting or issuing multi billion dollar fines would change anything then that is just some extreme agenda. imagine a world where the board of directors were hand cuffed and put in jail because they deserved to run a business on minimal staff. it would be mayhem

can some one ELI5… is this a way for me to run windows stuff using linux? OR is this for linux stuff to run in windows?

I really want an easier way to run windows stuff in linux, my hatred grows with every notification, update, attempt to advertise to me, and interference in my workspace. but trialing mint is great but the ultimate test is failing with a few programs not really playing nice with linux.
