I’ve literally seen a street sweeping, running during 80+ mph bursts with trees being blown down… My favorite memory.

I doubt zero will happen ever at this point. Too many businesses are holding it as a store of value for that to happen.
Would you want to buy drugs with a centralized currency?

Steelman instead of Strawman my friend.
Maybe we need to rethink the slogan altogether. Unfortunately, “fertilize crops with the rich” doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Has anybody considered “Burn the Rich.” I know, it’s more CO2 in the atmosphere but less private jets so I’m pretty sure it will be a net gain!

politics @lemmy.world•Biden blocks oil drilling on 10M acres in Alaska, including leases Trump sold
21·2 years agoYeah, but we got there by shale oil which is ruining our water supply and raping the future land for the present. Hot take. Let’s build more nuclear if energy independence is really the goal. Fossil Fuels are killing us.

Technology@lemmy.world•How do people find good information on the internet these days?English
42·2 years agoSadly, most of the news articles from “trusted” sources, are put there to steer the dialogue in a specific way. You can’t talk about certain things in the news and some articles are specifically put out there to raise awareness of certain products. Read Noam Chomsky’s Manufacturing Consent for more info.

This is why we NEED worker’s unions. They can fight this corporate power bullshit.
Your being downvoted… but if we were actually worried about everyone’s health, we’d shut down all fast food and ban sugary sodas. Health only matters when it doesn’t affect the $$$ flow of the rich.
