  • In prehistoric times the human hunting strategy was simply to follow an animal with a group of people until it tiers out, relying on superior endurance and cooperation skills. If it were possible for a human to simply defeat prime predators in one-on-one combat we would likely never have developed those skills in the first place. We are good at cooperating, precisely because we are so much weaker than gorillas.















  • You are just making this up as you go along. I can disprove your theory by the animal living in my house: cats live solitary lives and therefore do not divide tasks between genders. The idea that females primarily take care of children makes no sense since in most species (incl. most mammals) kids grow up pretty quickly. In most animals there is no sharp distinction of tasks between males and females.



  • I think it depends a bit on where the cat is. If my cat is in somebody’s yard and the owner does not like it, it’s perfectly fine to spray my cat with water. In fact I do the same to my neighbours cat to prevent cat fights. If my cat is on neutral territory, I would be more pissed.
