So, what exactly is the difference between him and Poilievre, at this point?

Sounds like somebody’s about to have their office raided.
Oh, thank God. Can’t wait for him to get deported to Sudan, or some shit.
Wow. That’s probably the stupidest article I’ve read in a while. Was this written before or after they passed that massive infrastructure bill that basically greenlights everything she says the federal government is not going to do? Everything she’s complaining about, are all the exact things that Carney campaigned on getting done. He’s been talking about doing ALL this shit, for months now, and has backed it up with legisaltion.
Like, what the actual fuck is she even talking about, at this point?
And by the way, he’s been courageous on this issue, and he’s had a backbone, and he has stood up to the wacko radicals and his party on this and he deserves all the credit in the world for it,” argued the conservative commentator.
Oh, yes…so brave. It takes real courage to accept all that money from AIPAC, secure in the knowledge that your support for ethnic cleansing in Gaza will be richly rewarded with lucrative job offers, once you’re no longer using your government position to shill for Netanyahu.
Uh, huh? And?
We are talking about the sex offender / pedophiles that Epstein theoretically had dirt on, right?
I can’t understand how any of these idiots expected anything different from Trump. How could they possibly not see all of this coming, a mile away?
Anyone who still thinks Trump will respect any current US alliances, needs to think again.
Because most of their big money donors are also on the list.
It also answers as if it were Musk, when asked certain questions.
Because they don’t vote based on political policy…they vote based on political identity.
White privilege.
I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful class action lawsuit, that utterly bankrupts the company and Elon Musk himself.
First link - about detention for protesting. Thanks for proving my point about people in Russia having more freedoms and at least some chance to protest. In Ukraine you would not even think about, as you would be kidnapped and sent to the meatgrinder immediately.
So…you didn’t actually read the article then? Because it goes into quite a bit of detail about how protestors are being jailed and the media is being censored. Which is the exact opposite of what you are claiming.
Second link also further proves my point - “conscripts cannot legally be deployed to participate in military operations in Ukraine”, so in other words you are not sent to die in the meatgrinder. The following example of conscripts actually getting into war is about Ukraine invading (!!) Kursk oblast, where they murdered soldiers and civilians. The stories about the actual kidnappings are just that - stories. Perhaps if you look really hard you would be able to find 1 or 2 videos of that happening in Russia, where individual officers overstep their authority, in Ukraine its systematic, and well the only way to keep the war going.
Again…you didn’t actually read the whole article, did you? That one detail you quoted, is being circumvented by several new changes to the law, and in many cases is simply ignored by commanding officers in the field. All that is in the article. Along with the fact that those who resist the draft or try to avoid conscription are often beaten, tasered and forced to join anyway, or they are sent to prison for as much as two years…and then they are sent to war after that.
Your arguments are so transparently disingenuous that there is really no point in providing you with any further information. You are obviously just going to ignore it.
You mean, something like this? Or maybe this?
If you want to complain about how one side is doing something bad…it helps if the side you’re defending isn’t also doing the same thing. And for the record, sarcasm is really only effective if the point you’re trying to make, is valid. Bullshitting your way through an argument, is just intellectually dishonest.
Russia also drafts civilians. Hundreds of thousands of them, so far. So, what you are saying, is pure bullshit. Russia doesn’t give a fuck how many civilians die for Putin’s war.
If they did care, it would be the easiest thing in the world to solve. Just withdraw their troops and go home. Everyone lives. The ongoing death toll has always been up to them. They chose this.
“Copper is necessary for Semiconductors, Aircraft, Ships, Ammunition, Data Centres, Lithium-ion Batteries, Radar Systems, Missile Defence Systems, and even, Hypersonic Weapons, of which we are building many,” Mr Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
The US depends on imports for nearly half of its refined copper needs, and brought in 810,000 metric tons in 2024, according to the US Geological Survey.
Sounds like exactly the kind of resource you should go out of your way to make more expensive and more difficult to acquire. /s
Maguire has said that his criticism was political, not religious or racial, adding that “Islamist” was a political ideology and not the same as Muslim.
Not only does that not help his case…it actually makes him sound even more Islamophobic.
He didn’t get sucked in…he jumped in.
