Back in my day you just blended powder into a smoothie, but apparently that’s too much work.
I for one would much rather eat actual food than a protein shake. I get so sick of those things even when I vary how I make them.
An actual complete, balanced meal? Yes. But a cup of “protein”? Might as well just go for the shake.
Nah, I’d take nuggets or beef jerky or a can of tuna over a protein shake any time. The only time protein powder is tolerable is when it’s mixed with oatmeal which defeats the purpose of just trying to bump your protein intake.
