Yeah, I probably agree with you. I just personally prefer Emmanuelle. I am partial to its particular kind of pondering philosophy and I find it’s use of the exotic setting engaging in a way I liked. But Venus is probably the most successful, as you say, at communicating the uniting experience.
I’ve never read Emmanuel. Though I think I saw the movie ages ago. But I never read it and that’s what really matters. I should probably read that. I’ll put it on a list.
