This reminds me of a teacher who used to sing that song with us in class.
    The school was in Germany.
    The class was Latin lessons.
    We were in 12th grade.
She was 1 year from retirement and gave zero fucks.

A translation into Latin doesn’t seem to scan with the tune (caveat: translation software used)… So she was singing in English? In Germany? During Latin class?

Yep. That’s definitely without a care in the world.

Did she do “If you’re happy and you know it” for an encore?

You’re right, I apologise. I said understand when it would probably have been more accurate to is the word appreciate.

I thought the comic was making fun of wokeness, as a reducto ad absurdum

              I see how, it’s not unreasonable :)

I took it at face value, but particularly enjoyed the absurdity of a situation that couldn’t happen; that such an innocuous song might get cancelled for being non-inclusive. A comment on the times, perhaps, but I think more reflective than judgemental

To you and me, headless horsemen are fairy tales. To a conservative, xenogenders are fairy tales. I think this comic was made by someone who genuinely feels the way this comic makes you and me feel.
