So i got my hands on some good liquid eyeliner, that allows to actually make thin lines so here I Am. I would really like to hear some feedback tips, tricks etc.

Left Eye:

Right Eye

I also did some basic eye-shadow and kinda fucked up so instead of removing the shadow under my right eye I just made it worse lol.

Also tried out fake lashes, but that went horribly wrong when trying to apply them.

You have very pretty eyes! The rest below is a matter of opinion, so take from it what you will.

On your left eye bottom lash, the line very quickly gets thick and stays thick until the wing, with a bit of a gap. The top lash line would look better if you lengthened it, I’d say over half the length of the eye.

The right eye looks a lot better! The wing is a bit thick, but practice will make that a bit better.

I use a slightly different product (liner in a pot, applied with a stiff angle brush), but I have a few pointers for application!

When I apply my eyeliner, I am seated at a table/desk and have my elbow resting on the table. It helps keep my hand steadier.

When I need to clean up my wing, I take a q-tip with a little micellar water and remove any parts that are too thick. Can’t really do that if you will remove eyeshadow, but for the bottom part of the wing that is never a concern for me. I think this would have helped, especially on your left eye.

Bravo! So I would stick to lining the top lid only. Liquid liner on the bottom lash looks kind of harsh? Idk I don’t line my bottom lids but if I do I’m using pencil or blending an eyeshadow along the lashline.

And this is a helpful tip in general, but for anyone with lighter hair than black and you’re going for a more natural look — give brown eyeliner a try! You can soften it even more with brown eyeshadow. More forgiving (bc it’s not black), makes you look lighter, youthful, fresh. I switched to brown mascara too. Seriously, it’s a game changer:)

I wish i had those lashes. Also very pretty eyes. the liner looks kind of super dry, so i am guessing too many layers or poor quality liner (i know i said the layer thing with the nailpolish as well. i’m just guessing)

You did a good job of getting the liner on your upper lids close to your lashline and you have a very pretty eye color!

Were you deliberately going for a downturned eyeliner look? I often see downturned eyeliner associated with creating softer and rounder shapes that are easier to achieve with pencil, especially if you’re lining your bottom lid. You can search for tutorials on “puppy eyeliner” if that’s what you wanted to achieve.

If you want to create a wing, you should angle your liner up higher, approximately at the angle from the outer corner of your eye to the outer end of your eyebrow. You can use eye tape or hold a piece of paper to help you draw a cleaner line. Here is a step by step guide on winged liquid liner: Link

I dont even know what that is supposed to mean lol. I just wipped the Eyeliner out and tried to create something that looked good.

I know you’re probably not comfortable showing your whole face but I’d love to see how the make up looks on you. I don’t think my face could pull that off, for example.

Otherwise I’ve always liked liquid eye makeup like that!
