Act 3 got nerfed so fucking hard when they decided to cut out half of the content just to make the game work. Every single ending for Karlach is technically a failed quest state. The end of her story got cut off when they cut off the Upper City.
I personally think cutting half the content for Act 3 is part of why the Act 3 baddies feel so underdeveloped. Or at least that goes for Gortash, while whatsherfuck forgettablename is yeah more tied to the Durge storyline.
Every time I see that scene where the three of them are presented and the Narrator describes him as a “handsome young man…”
The narrator must be wearing beer goggles.
Bg3 is one of my favourite games, and honestly the only two things I’d change would be reverting Wyll’s storyline to EA, and adding maybe even one street from the higher city, even if it feels cramped, just to give Karlach a real ending.
