Is this real? It’s too cute to be real isn’t it?

It’s a very cute story! Unfortunately not true - this particular cat got an honorary title but it wasn’t a thing that usually happened.

Still, I’m glad they had cat memes even back then!

Aww, I loved the idea of it! Never mind, at least it happened once. :)

Within the EU, you still need passport for a cat if you wanna travel abroad with it. My cat has his own passport.

My parents’ dog has a passport. It even includes the names of the dog’s parents which I find amusing.

Did the cat have to sign with their paw? Please say yes even if it isn’t true

I have a cat and have travelled abroad with in Europe, but never needed to use the passport

          Ok, to be specific:

          • You really SHOULD have it
          • It is a proof of vaccination
          • Some countries require you to have your cat vaccinated against rabies (such as Germany)
          • If you don’t have such proof, in Germany, they may take your cat away from you for a few days and put him into quarantine
