    If I had a $52,000,000,000 endowment and an operating cost of $6.5 billion a year then I, too , also, as well, would have no trouble telling the government to pound sand.

      It’s better than a middle finger. It’s a parent talking down to a child, carefully explaining why the federal government works with universities: to ensure the US stays wealthy/healthy/relevant.
