I was not Abel to understand this reference and thought it was biblical.
It’s Cain and Abel, I don’t know why the title is referencing Romulus and Remus.
Because Romulus killed Remus in a dispute over where to locate the city
Yes, I’m aware of that, but it’s hardly the only case of mythological fratricide. What I’d like to know is why is it referencing specifically the founding of Rome instead of any of the other examples. Chiefly, why not just reference the story the art piece originally referenced (which to my knowledge is Cain and Abel.)

Imagine if Remus had been the one to kill his brother.
The capital would have been called Remes
And the people Remans
Star Trek would have the Vulcans and Remulans
Star Trek: Nemesis would have had the bad guys coming from Romulus
Our science would be much different too. Colorless would be monochreme. We would measure in micremeters. Study the field of aereumechanics.
And of course, we’d have the classic Remeus and Juliet.
I don’t think the first three examples work just because they have the word ‘rome’ in them. The roots of those words actually predate Rome itself.
Romeo would definitely change though because that name is a direct reference to Rome
