Oftentimes it was demeaning, being told to try to sell fucking wipers to people. But that is all true for most jobs in America, unfair or not. What safelite did give me was time and space to work through my issues, heal mentally as best anyone can under capitalism, and plan. That planning got me to go to trident for their 1 year free tuition and get my associates, which at least got me a job in the ac where I also wasn’t wondering who I gotta not pay to make rent.
